Aplicia trotted into the den just as snow began to fall. "Because we're friends." Aplicia laughed as she curled up keeping any warmth that would escape from her trapped within her fur. She was glad he had checked the den for any other occupants before they went into it, truthfully she hadn't thought about it. She liked Xander for his prtective abilities and instincts and was glad that he was helping his adoptive mother with the pups. Another trait she liked in him.

(Ooc: OOOOOOH APLICIA HAS A CRUUUSH! xDDD! Welcome back to DS by the way, I missed chu. ;- Xander slid down to the ground next to Aplicia, his feet just touching hers. Luckily they were wolves, and wolves had two pelts. The only thing was that he was wet, and if he didn't get fully out of the cold, he would probably get sick. "Yea, we are." he agreed, his tall wagging quickly but then returning around his body for warmth. "When are you going back to your terra?" he asked, tilting his head. He didn't really want her to go.

(OOC-Maybe she does. Thanks.)
"I don't know when, truthfully though, I am on a quest for my pack to find other wolves for my pack. I don't really want to go back either." She placed her paws beside his and a smile crept onto her maw.

He nodded to show his understanding. He liked to listen, it had always been like that. Ever since he was just a whelp he loved to listen to his mother's stories, and when he got older, it was Daimond and Vulpes' that he listened to. "Find anyone other than me?" he asked her, smiling back. Xander then glanced down at their paws. For some reason unknown to him, he started to get unusually nervous. "There are a lot of members in the pack I'm in."

"Sadly no. You are the only one I've found in a week's time." She curled one paw back against her chest leaving the other where it was and she looked to him.

"Well thats no good.." he murmured, still staring into her eyes. A cold draft from outside sent chills down his spine, and he felt more obligated to curl up next to Aplicia for warmth. Of course, he didn't. He just scooted further into the small den. "I will definitely get to you somehow when I'm ready to leave Tsodin.." His tail thumped against the floor quickly but then wrapped tightly around his feet again.

"Really? You will?" Aplicia asked as she wagged her tail quickly and wrapped it around her dainty paws again. "I live in Merry Meadow. That's where you'll find me. If the winds tell wrong of course." She told him as she watched him with her blue eyes.

Xander nodded as he spoke loudly, "Of course! I hope your Alpha's will accept me when I do decide to come," He rolled his tongue out the side of his head and let it loll happily. He looked outside. It was starting to snow. "Aren't you excited for the winter? I am. I love it." he told her, and stared out.

Aplicia laughed. "Xander, I was born in winter! My Alphas should accept you, well if they aren't driven out of corse." She told him and watched the snow dance down from the sky.

"If they're strong, they probably won't be!" he chuckled and licked his paw. Who knows what her Alpha's were like, but if they were anything like Vulpes, they were as strong as steel. "Wasn't it hard being born in the winter?" he asked her, cocking his head to the side.

"They're strong, they'l be able to hold out against any troubles." Aplicia looked to him and smiled as she answered his next question. "A little yeah. There wasn't much for food. That's why my mother lost two of her pups." She waved her tail a little. "I guess you could call me one of the lucky ones." She got up and padded to the den's mouth. "Me and my brother would attack each other in the new fallen snow." She shivered as a breeze caught her and she trotted back to Xander's side, rejoining him.

Sliding his paws underneath his warm stomach, he listened to her story carefully. He couldn't imagine what that felt like as a pup. "Must've been hard for you.." he muttered, his fur starting to twitch. "I was born just after winter, so I never really was hungry. Food was always rife." He smiled and flicked his ear, rolling over onto her.

Aplicia smiled. "Not on me it wasn't, but on mom and dad it was." She pushed with her paws attempting to dislodge him, but to no avail. She laughed and tucked her paws as best she could.

"I see, must've been pretty bad on 'em.." he said, gazing directly into her eyes. A small sound of flutter outside made him quickly pull away. His eyes instantly landed on a small flock of crows staring in on them with their beady little eyes. Xander growled at them, annoyed. He hated scavengers.
(Do you want to make them go their separate ways and then Xander can go to Merry Meadow to tell her that he is now next in line for Alphaship? >_<)

OOC-Nah. He can tell her he is and she can accept it in her way. . bic- Aplicia too glared at the crows. Evil little demons. She thought as she raised her lips in a half growl at the birds scaring one up and away. She laughed and turned to Xander again.
