Corsa Creek

The small, yet fast creek rushes alongside a second water body, it's sister: Nero Acque River. Corsa Creek's name was inspired by the Italian Heritage of the settling humans around it. Corsa means rush in Italian, for Corsa Creek is the fastest creek around---faster even than it's sister, Nero Acque River.
Both rivers were named in Italian, for the settlers were everywhere. Corsa was originally called Picolo Fiume: Little River. Not many lives were lost to Corsa, but there are legends in which others always try to race Corsa, and lose because Corsa had the right name to win a race.
There are also legends that those who drink from Corsa's rushing waters gain much more speed than others...
