The forest was very still when Reine first entered it, but as she padded in deeper, she realized that there was a lot of life. Everywhere she turned there were birds either sitting in pairs, or fluttering around happily with another. Strange.. she thought to herself as she looked on to see pairs of wolves talking with eachother. Some looked sad, some looked determined, and some looked flabbergasted. Some even looked like they were in love.
Reine lowered herself down by a large mossy rock, which was completely bald at the top from animals sitting on it. She stretched her long legs out and then crossed her front two one over the other. Her back legs crossed over to the side carelessly. There was something different about this forest, like it had a certain air to it but she couldn't put her paw on it.
As the femme rested, she thought of the pack she had just joined. Was this all just one big mistake? That was something she would have to find out later in time. For now, she would just focus on meeting new wolves. Her beautiful ivory pelt swayed gently as a random breeze came from the south. How relaxing.

A sleek-furred male crept through the undergrowth in the Forest of Love. His black fur would have been rather useful for camoflauge, had it not had the silver arrow-like markings down his limbs. He let out a sigh, feeling a moment of remorse at the fact that he, Kane Adair, had failed to seduce the she-wolf, Darkspirit. This was why he was creeping about...if anyone had spotted Darkspirit's rejection of himself, Kane would wait to show his face. He was arrogant, and arrogance and embarrasment, as Kane knew, didn't mix very well.
In fact, Kane was convinced that hey shouldn't have been allowed to mix at all, in any sort of way whatsoever.
The mascu raised his muzzle into the air, taking in long sniffs of the air around him. He could scent a few couples around here, including the ones over at Romance River. He could even smell Kiba and Darkspirit, their scents faint. A pang of anger and frustration rushed through him, and Kane sat down, his eyes glancing about nervously.
Oh, Fuhdis, please don't let anyone have seen this!
Again, he sniffed the air, and Kane's muscles tightened instinctively with uncontainable excitement. A femme, which meant another possible mate for Kane. Not that he needed a mate for life or anything...no, in fact, Kane only needed a mate for about a day or so. He had no want to hang around much with faes for much more than that.
Even Daimond, whom he had impregnated, he had left momentarily to wander over to Darkspirit. But now he realized that, with Daimond's pregnancy, there was a possibility that his luck with femmes had disappeared entirely. Darkspirit had seen through his web of lies, somehow, and chosen Kiba over Kane. The thought made him scoff angrily. How could one even think of choosing Kiba over Kane?
Glancing over to where the white female lay, he stode rather lazily out in front of her, as if he hadn't seen her to begin with. Then, Kane stopped rather abruptly and looked over to her in what looked like genuine surprise.
"Are you here all alone?"
He paused for a moment, gazing into her pink eyes as if lost inside their depths. Kane had mastered the art of looking and acting as if he was deathly in love with someone, or so sorrowful that his previous mate had died. Truthfully, there was no dead mate...although, that was the technique he had used on Daimond, and it had worked quite well.
"I mean...you're rather lovely, and...I can't honestly believe you'd be alone."
Kane grinned good-naturedly, as if he had just stumbled upon her by accident, but he knew better. In fact, only he knew better. For Kane knew well that it was only he that knew himself for who he truly was.

"Well, you better start believing." she replied, with a strong french accent. Her pink eyes lingered up from his paws to his face, then quickly looking over the rest of him. He was handsome, very handsome in her eyes. His markings simply astonished her, for she had never seen anything like them.
With a slight heave, she got to all fours, her ivory pelt seeming to glow as she shook the dirt off the bottom of her chest. Reine's poofy curled tail unraveled a tad before her gaze, caught his. She lifted up one of her small paws, before introducing herself to him. "I'm Reine, Once heiress of ze Blanca Fluer Field pack." she informed him, lifting her muzzle up slightly. She took pride in what she used to be, and still thought of herself as someone very important, even though she really wasn't.
"And who might be you?" she asked him, rather curious.

Ooc// Sorry about that. xD

Kane Adair Well I'm not saying she's my last. I'm just saying that she could have been, it doesn't matter how rough these hands get. It doesn't matter cause I'm not her man.
Kane's face was rather solemn, which would seem unusual if one knew a little more about the mascu. His right ear twitched lazily once as he spoke, as if he wasn't controlling the actions of that part of him. His tail wagged gently as well, in an almost doglike fashion...but truly, he was only showing friendliness; he meant no harm to the fae...at least, not at the moment he didn't.
"I am usually am called Kane Adair, of no pack, previously or currently."
His voice was smooth, but not particularily deep or high. Just somewhere in the middle, just like Kane always thought it was supposed to be like. Kane realized that this she-wolf may just be very easy to sway into becoming his mate...or at least, that would be what it would be like in her eyes. In his, only a brief fling, like so many before.
He gave the ebony fur on his chest a brief lick, then looked back up at her, thinking for a moment for something interesting to say. Not that it was particularily difficult, but he liked to pretend it was. Pretend like he was simply an average wolf, and one with no background involving his little flings.
"Previous heiress?"
That was something that may be worth talking about. Previous heiress to a pack he had never heard of...not that Kane had heard of a ton. Most of his life had been in the lands of DarkStar, serving no side but simply being in the middle...where he belonged.
What he had said before, however, was truthful. Kane was not one for packs of any sort, and therefore had never joined one. It was as if he had been born without the pack instinct all wolves were born with. Or as if it had left his body once he had become a loner.

Reine's tail curled up cutely behind her and she fluffed up her front hair with her forearm. Usually, she did it when she was around charming brutes, which is almost all the time. She spread apart her lips into a smile. "Eet eez very nice to meet you, Kane Adair." she said, rolling her R's slightly.
Feeling necessary to sit down again, she did, but in somewhat of a impossibly graceful manner. Another small breeze swept up against her, ruffling up her fur before it gently swayed back into place. She sighed slightly, thinking of her past. After it all, it had been a fairly grusem one.
"Vell, back in Parí, I vas born to my mama, and papa, along vith my younger brozer and older seesters. But my eldest seester, Margaret, decided to keel (OoC: omg the accent. xD) our family off." she told Kane, turning her long muzzle to one side so that he could catch what she thought her "good" side was.
Thinking of her parents and her siblings almost always tore her up, but she hid it away from him. Now was not the time to be getting emotional. "So, ve ran and I eventually ended up right here, in DarkStar." she finished, rolling back her shoulders with a smile. "What eez eet like to be without a loving pack all of your life?" she asked, completely unaware of all the "love" this wolf was actually spreading, and getting.

Kane's ears were pricked, and he seemed to be savouring every word. Not because he was interested -- he was, mildly -- but because he found it wasn't very good when a femme spoke of her past, and you couldn't remember waht she had told you before. So, Kane would hang on to every word she said, tucking it away into memory. It would likely be thrown away later, however.
Quickly making sure that he remembered all of it, Kane snapped back into the real world when she asked a question. Kane couldn't help but think back to the days when he didn't live alone -- when he had a family. Beck and Ra'uf, his brothers, had been alive then. He didn't know if they were or not now, nor did he care. Beck had just been an annoying, jovial idiot, and Ra'uf had been a complete bastard to everyone he met. Always trying to pick a fight, Ra'uf was.
"Eh, it's not particularily interesting. Wander here, wander there...I had a family once, but I really didn't...enjoy them too much."
He reminisced still, of those times. Ra'uf and Beck...he remembered that Beck had been his direct sibling, while Ra'uf had been from a previous litter. Perhaps that had been why they didn't get along...Beck had been okay, at first, but he had no sense of lust in him. Kane had found that he had been boring, always the same: happy.
Happiness only worked for so long, before one had to switch emotions...Beck had never gotten that. Ra'uf was always tough and leaderlike, but Kane wouldn't have wanted him for a leader. Ra'uf would've thrown them into battle every chance he got! Kane, thinking back, was glad to live the life of a loner.
Packs weren't his thing.

Reine could instantly see that he wasn’t much of a talker and more of a shady being. It turned her on even more than she already was just by looking at him! Surely he didn’t have a mate at the moment with all that wandering, she was almost completely sure of it. But why he didn’t have one made completely stumped her. He was rugged, and shady – perfect in her love crazy eyes.
“But don’t you ever get lonely?” she asked, her tone of voice changing specifically on the word “lonely”. The small fae got up and walked up to him, staring straight into his eyes as if something truly remarkable were about to him. Her head cocked gently to the side and her face was somewhat grim. It wasn’t that she wasn’t lament towards it all; it was just that she was thinking about other things.
So she bit the bottom part of her lip with her two long fangs and flattened her ears down. If she stared at him any longer there was no doubt that she would probably fall inwards and flat on her face, after hitting into him of course. Reine finally tore his eyes away from his and looked at his chest, then back up at him slowly, awaiting his answer.

Kane's interest level rose immensely. It seemed that she was falling nicely under his little spell of kind words and beautiful looks. Ah, yes, it was the spell that almost always succeeded in getting him some pleasure and everyone else a broken heart. Kane loved the feel that his heart had caused the breaking of another. Call it evil, call it sinful, call it lustful, call it what you'd like, but he really wouldn't care. He simply did what he did for the pleasure of mating another wolf, and for the feeling that he had broken them.
Kane pondered over what she had said for a moment, or at least he pretended to. It was that question that made it obvious to him, and now his flirting skills were thrust forward. "Oh, yes. My world if filled with long nights and long days, all...alone." He strung out the last word carefully, making it last in the cool autumn air.
"Ah, but in a pack, one must never get lonely, hmm?" he asked, a sly grin on his face now. This would reveal fully what she wanted, and if it was him, then Kane would continue. If not, well...he would disappear like always.
o o c;// Sorry it's kinda short. >.>

Her pink orbs glazed over his yet again, and now it was her time to act the part. Little did they know, they had much in common. Well, the only real thing was that they were very lustful creatures, with hearts that didn't break easily. Sure, she loved being loved by brutes, but she didn't feel the same way back about one of them yet. Even if it did happen, she would be a very unfaithful mate.
"For me eet eez. I don't even know everyone een my pack yet, and I've been in eet for a while now. Too many pups, hardly any brutes." she told him, starting to strut around him in a tight circle, her fluffy white pelt rubbing against his dark one. Once she came back around, she walked passed him, letting her tail rub right beneath his chin.
