Crucifix had been guiding Keala through DarkStar for quite sometime. The two only stopped if they came to a river, and they made sure to stay clear of any territories, instead they took the loners path through it, which was much easier. The path was long, curvy and had a lot of forks in it, but luckily, Crucifix knew his way around, being deceased and all. If he hadn't been leading Keala though, he would have just floated right through the territories since he could not be scented at all. It was one of the only up's to being a ghost.
"This is it." he said, approaching a scatter of trees that got more flooded with trunks and darkness until it was too far for the eye to see. Just standing there for a moment, staring into the darkness, Crucifix felt like something had happened to him here before, and yet, he'd been feeling that about a lot of places. "Do you want me to stay with you ... or leave?" he asked, not knowing what to do if he was dismissed.

Keala stared around at the place then looked over at him. "Thanks Crucifix. If you wanna stay, you can." She smiles gently over at him.

He nodded, a grin on his face. "So, you mentioned you wanted to practice healing. Could you tell me more about that?" he asked, curiously. Crucifix decided that it would be a while until the Alpha would come.

"Healing?" Keala laughed, and laid dow curling her tail over her dainty paws. "I was the only pup in my litter of 8 to inherit the healing powers that had been passed down my mother's blood lines. She never could understand why it was only me that had recieved it. I told her that it was only because I was exactly like her in everyway, my other siblings, they were more like my father, he had no powers. I can only do small healings right now, small cuts, and I've gotten pretty close to being able to heal muscles and bones. When my powers are fully developed..." She looked over at him and smiles "I'll be able to bring back the dead. It's too late for my family and it may even be too late for you. I hope I can bring back the dead." She looks at him and smiles.

Crucifix nodded slightly as he sat down, lowering himself farther and farther on the ground as he could until he was on his stomach. Of course, he had to make sure he wouldn't just fall right through, he heard that it was possible. "I see. It's nice of you to want to help others.." he said, rolling over onto his ghostly back, looking directly at the sun, "But even if you could, I would not want to go back, Fhudis wanted me to be like this for some reason, and I must obey." Now he felt like his Omega role was coming back to him once he said that, but he shook the thought off.

Keala smiled at him. "And I don't blame you for that. The gods wanted me too be a healer apparently." She laughed and rolled to her side.

"Apparently.." he mumbled, chuckling a little, with no meaning to it. "Do you think you will ever save a life?" he asked her, tilting his head, gaze still up on the sun. Crucifix wondered what it would it would feel like to be brought back to life. Yes, it would be wonderful, he could see Tilly again and all, but it was not going to happen. "Why am I a ghost?" he asked, very randomly.

Keala looks over at him "Yeah, I think I might. No one knows why you're a ghost after you...go, it's just natural I guess."

"Do you think I have to fulfill some unfinished business?" he asked, sitting upright now. What business could HE possibly have to finish? Who knew. "I hope I don't have to kill anybody.." he said, laughing. As soon as the laughter faded, he realized what he had just done; Laughed.

Keala flops back up suddenly, and looks at him, "You just might, but what it might be, who knows? And did you just laugh?"

"I think I did." he said plainly, back to his monotone voice. How odd. A slight moment of glee, and then it ended. Maybe he could feel? No. Impossible. Laughter was not a feeling, it was just something you could do whenever if you had a good sense of humor.

Keala looks quizically at Crucifix then smiles, "I didn't know ghosts were able to have feelings. I wonder if my family had any of those feelings." She looks sadly down at the ground and unwillingly lets a whimper escape and when she looks up at Crucifix a tear falls down her face and lingers at the bottom of her cheek, and falls to the ground. "I miss them so much."

"What happened to them?" he asked, inching closer to her, curiously. He didn't want to see her crying, and he felt that he could do nothing so he just looked at his own paws. "Do not cry. They are in a different place, a better one."

Smiles over at him. "I know they are. What happened to them? My mother died from wounds that an enemy inflicted on her on our way to our new territory after my four siblings died. And my father was killed by a grey wolf that was bigger than him. That's how I lost all of them."

He shook his head, looking down to the floor. "Once I get up there," he said, turning his gaze up to the sky, which was covered by many oak tree leaves and branches, "I'll see if I can find them." Crucifix grinned, looking back at her. But then it hit him, was he actually going to Heaven, or would he be going to Hell? Besides, he didn't even remember weather he'd been good or not. He looked back at Keala, no real emotions, just a tail wag.
