A black wolf crept forward, careful with each passing step.He had found familiar scents-stale,but maybe they were fresh up here. One was,but not the one he really want.
His boney back was arched slightly, but moved easily as his skinny legs did.He licked his raven shoulder for a moment, then looked back again.
Emerald green eyes were anxious. For sure, the starved-looking wolf wasn`t looking for pack.Maybe a free meal, from anyone who looked at him.
But that wasnt what the wolf wanted.
He wanted to find that scent!
He absently counted his ribs as he walked around in a circle, wagging his tail slightly. He glanced up to the sky and opened his mouth, howling. Not saying anything, simply calling attention.
Maybe he`d be blessed with some.
Hah.Blessed.

Long, lean, muscular form began to creep about in the shadows, when his sharp black ears caught the sound of a howl. Annoyance began to rise in his mind, and his yellow eyes narrowed. If this wasn't really worth any of his time, the wolf would snap his fangs into whatshisface's throat and hope to hell that the wolf would suffer.
Dreadful old wolf that he was, Shadow immediately began to follow the sound of the howl, His mouth open in a half-snarl, hoping to scare the young wolf off, but he knew it was no use. The wolf looked a little too interested in whatever it was that he had come here for to just go away, no matter how much Shadow would try. Ah, well. This could result in a little fun, and that was something he found he needed. Fun. And of course, to finish getting rid of those damned cubs. And at that thought, the lightbulb went off.
Perhaps he could convince the young wolf to help him, just perhaps. Had Shadow been a man (with a beard), he would have stroked his beard with a nasty grin on his face, but Shadow was a wolf, and therefore he merely gave that soft, yet venomous smile.
"Hullo, there," his low, almost raspy voice growled. "Who might you be to be prowling around my lands...unaccompanied?"

Karayan turned around, his tail still wagging. He stopped it slowly and smiled toothily.
"Hello!" He didnt remove his sharp green gaze from the wolf. They glittered curiously.
His tail began to wag again. "I am Karayan. I am searching for one who must be punished."
At this thought he bared his teeth angrilly, instead of his usual smile.
"Her scent is stale,though.." He said absently under his breath. He looked up and remembered the wolf was there.
He neared him carefully and sniffed. Her scent was on him, too. She definatly hadn`t passed by here.Maybe she was in the pack? But, again, it was stale.
He stepped back hurriedly, not wanting to anger someone who could help him.
"Maybe you could help me? Sir....?"

"Damnedfur," the wolf replied. "Or Shadow, if you'd prefer..." Despite being the Dragga, Shadow's stance was held low to the ground, his paws silent on the forest floor. His long black claws slipped into the ground, holding him still. At last spring seemed close, and the snow had begun to slowly melt around him, leaving more and more earth and less of the cold white shit. Shadow was quite sick of it, as snow caused nothing but problems for the pack...and of course, for the plan to rid themselves of the rest of the cubs, and of Raphael.
"The one who needs to be punished?" Now this interested the wolf much. And this one was a female, the young wolf had said...around here? Then if they had been around Omber Forest, it could only mean they were one of his pack...or Angel. The poor wolf was slightly confused about Angel's part in the pack at the moment. Though two of her three more recent offspring, as well as Snoozer, still lived with the Sins, and her mate, Angel herself was...not there. It confused poor Shadow out of his mind, which was something that rarely happened to the aging wolf.
Though I say aging, he really didn't look it. Shadow must've been at least five to seven years of age, and yet no grey nor white fur flecked his muzzle, and his face was youthful as ever. And in his steps, there was no drag of age, and he certainly hadn't slowed down. In fact, the only things that might even suggest age were his knowledge of the world and rather gravelly voice.
"I may be able to help you, wolf," growled Shadow, his yellow eyes narrowed, as if he was trying to peer into the other wolf's soul. "But mark my words. I'll want something in return."

Karayan swept the ground with his paw absently as he though. He would need help. And this wolf would be helpful. He smiled eerily. "Alright,Sir Damnedfur." His voice slipped off of his usually sharp tongue. "Then you will probibly need the name of the punishee." He thought for a few more moments, head low again. His slim tail waved back and forth, and he finally spoke, unknowingly comfirming the wolf`s thoughts. "Her name is Angel. She left me for the dead. Now she`s going to be dead." His boney back arched angrilly, fur spiking, eyes wild.
