((Formerly the character of Dahlia))
Dahlia
----------------------------------------------
4 years of Age
----------------------------------------------
Maned Wolf/Great Dane
----------------------------------------------
Dahlia is tall and thin, with a mane of black fur that falls in her face. Most of her pelt is a rusty red, but her face and underbelly is the colour of milk, along with a large portion of her tail. Her hind legs are black from the hocks down. Her front legs are black from the elbow down. Her only jewelry is a black collar with an opal locket shaped like a skull adorning it. The picture inside the locket will remain secret till someone can earn enough of her trust to see what it is. Her most prominent features, however, are her onyx black eyes. Although her sight is perfectly fine, it is impossible to tell where she is looking and thus being around her often creates the feeling that she is staring at you.
----------------------------------------------
Dahlia's personality is willy nilly and unpredictable. Despite this, she is clever enough and kind to those that deserve it. She hates boxes, is terrified of spiders, loves anything sweet, and has a strategic mind. Dahlia has trouble making friends, and not many people see her as someone that would make a good leader, but in truth she is a wonderful person and, although she is a bit mad, a strategic genius and kind.
----------------------------------------------
For Dahlia's history, we will have to go back a bit further into the past, back before her birth.
Dahlia's father was a Great Dane, who was born and raised in Germany by an American soldier. He fought in "the war" alongside his owner till he was injured in battle to badly to return to the field, so he was shipped off to America to live with his owner's neice. Now Dahlia's father was not happy with being forced off duty, but he soon found himself content with living with his owner's neice, for she studied wild wolves and needed constant protection from the "vicious" creatures.
One day, Dahlia's old man went out with his new owner as usual, only this time they were being sent out to observe the behavoir of a foreign wolf from south america and how it reacted to the sudden change in environment. As time passed one event led to another and soon enough the retired soldier and the maned wolf beauty had two pups together. One was an aggresive male with a pure red coat, while the other was, of course, little Dahlia.
Time passed, and as Dahlia and her brother, whose name was Damien, aged, their parents grew apart. For her mother longed for the wild that she had grown up in, and her father grew gruff and mean with age. Soon enough, her mother was driven insane by the combined strains of growing pups and being forced away from her home. One day, Dahlia's mother just died of stress. Dahlia's father, though rougher than he once was, was consumed with grief and shunted away the pups so that they had to fend for themselves.
Time passed, and soon Damien and Dahlia had grown apart as well. Dahlia was kind and wished to stay in the comfort of the new home that they had built for themselves, but Damien was aggressive, ambitious, and hungered for power. Eventually they parted ways, and Dahlia was left to take care of herself.
And now we come to the reason that Dahlia's eyes are as black as night. Dahlia, who was forced to constanly travel in search of food that a single wolf could catch, one day came upon a human road, and she had never seen such a thing before. Dahlia spent days debating whether or not to cross it, while watching the metal monsters rumble along. One night she decided that she would run across before any of the great beasts would get her, and she ran. Dahlia got about half way across, before one of the great metal monster collided with her. The impact did not kill her, for the car was not going particularly fast, but it did knock her out and send her rolling off the road...
Days later Dahlia woke to a pounding head. Although she did not realize it, when the moving vehicle had collided with her head it had given her a rare injury that would never heal. It fractured her eyes, making them turn as black as night. The impact had also done damage to her brain, making her the unnpredictable wolf she is today.
And now Dahlia has come upon these lands. Her everlasting hope of finding friends and a home still shines in her black eyes, as she looks upon the land of the wolf, Dark Star.
