Korvus, being a cub, had little muscle on his small, slender body. For a cub, even, Korvus was not at all muscular. He was small, but not a runt…but when I say there was little muscle, I do not mean Korvus was overweight. He was simply slender, and certainly not the sort of wolf meant for fighting with others, even if it was, say, over something he truly wanted. Korvus understood this, and has, to this day, not fought at all…even with his sister, Nightmare. His body was average sized, and he, apart from being much smaller, almost looked like an average wolf. Except for his fur, which was fluffier and, of course, more like a pup. Kor’s fur was the brightest of whites, which most would believe to be strange, especially with his dark faith. His tail was tipped black, with a red stripe that ran up his back and then spread out into some vine-like markings just before it hit his shoulders. On each side of his neck, there’s a black crescent moon shape, with a red stripe in the centre. Beside his left eye, there’s a black teardrop marking, and around both eyes, a black outlined red shape, with a black swirl inside it. Korvus had incredibly pale blue eyes. Why eyes so pale, you’d likely ask…and the answer is simple. Korvus Asmodeus was a blind wolf.
You probably want to know a little about how young Korvus acts. He’s not exactly your average wolf cub. Kor is curious, but not in the same way that most cubs are. Korvus won’t go see something, but he’ll want to hear about it if Nightmare goes and finds out about it. For example, something like a butterfly. If Nightmare goes to chase it, Korvus will stay back until Nightmare is finished exploring…but after she’s finished, and comes back, Korvus will ask a bazillion questions about the butterfly…what it looked like, what colour it was, how fast it was going…you name it, Korvus will ask it. And so, Korvus is very inquisitive. Korvus is a little sweet by nature, considering how he’s meant to be a dark wolf, through and through. He’s a little hesitant when it comes to just barreling down any old place…in fact, Korvus barely moves unless Nightmare, Pure, or another is by his side, helping him along to get to his destination. Kor is not very trusting, being as he cannot see the wolves that enter his life. Korvus has to trust instincts only, something that is difficult for any wolf…cub or adult.

Nightmare’s name says most of it all. Her pelt was black as the night, with silvery highlights along her legs and shoulders, giving her an almost ghostly look. Some of these silver markings were more blue, others yellow, others grey. It depended on when you looked at her, and what her mood was…or at least, that would be what some would say. No one would ever know for sure, it seemed, why the markings were there…what they signified…other things along those lines. Her fur was of normal length. Just like Korvus, Nightmare was slender…but unlike Kor, she had a little muscle strung across her body, just enough to show off her agility that she hid until the moment she ran. Not as agile as some, but more so than the average cub was. It was a power that was almost…supernatural, one might say. It was abnormal for one to have such agility as a mere cub, but once Nightmare was on her feet, that was just how it was. Unlike Korvus, Nightmare would easily fight, and did much damage just because of her agility. On chest, she had a white star, just like her mother’s, that showed that she was truly the cub of Pure Darkness Damnedfur.
Like all cubs, as I said with Korvus, Nightmare is inquisitive and always has her nose into…well, anything she can manage to get into. She’s highly curious, but unlike her brother, Nightmare will explore. Night just doesn’t sit around and wait for someone else to tell her about it; she leaps into action the moment someone even says something vaguely related to whatever it is she’s going to find. Sometimes no one says anything, and she rushes off, leaving Korvus with his head tilted and a look of pure perplexity ‘pon his face. Also unlike her brother, Nightmare’s dark side is constantly showing. She loves the thrill of the hunt, anything…well, all she can really hunt is small things, like bugs, mice, rats, and the occasional rabbit that’s slow enough – or stupid enough, judging by her speed. Intelligent, she was, but Korvus was more so.[/sup]
