Lestat, the runt of the small litter, wriggled behind his brother and sister, trying to find a spot to get some milk for himself. Unfortunately for him, with a small whine he crawled near the end of the line and dug his nose into his mothers belly, sniffing around, her scent sticking strongly into his mind. But after a moment, he pulled back away and rolled into Bear's spot as he walked again. His almost bald tail wagged in delight as he finally got a chance to drink his mothers warm milk.
Confused, Dasoto ceased his brows, unsure of how to act upon the ball of fluff's action. He slowly lowered his head and sniffed his son, very curious. A few seconds later, he averted his eyes up towards the other two. He liked what he saw, but he couldn't help but frown at Lestat's size. "Alright, What would you like? Anything you want, I'll bring." He lifted his head up and backed his paw away from the cub. Almost afraid, he carefully picked the whelp up by it's extra skin around it's neck. The brute carried his pup back over to his mate and set him down in between her paws. He waited for her answer.

Bear whined, as he was getting picked up. He found himself, snuggled up to his mother's warm body. He curled up into a tiny furball, and fell asleep.
Accalia licked Bear's head, and smiled. She looked up to Dasoto again, and shrugged.
"Maybe a shrew, or vole please."
She licked Moon's little head, and Lestat's.

Dasoto nodded and let his ears stand stick straight on the top of his large head. "I'll be back." he said grimly just after softly licking her head. He turned and stormed out of the den, opening up all his strong senses for the hunt he was about to begin.
Lestat squirmed next to his mother's warm body and snuggled contently next to his sister, ready for a nice nap.

No longer than 15 minutes later did he come back, two dead shrews dangling out of his mouth, for he held them with his slightly bloodied teeth. His claws more so than his mouth, since he only had to strike at them to kill them. Once he entered the den, the strong scent of newly borns filled his nostrils, making the skin underneath his thick gray pelt quiver uneasily. Quietly, he dropped the two small dead bodies near her paws, a content grin spread across his maw.
"For you, my Queen." he said, his voice deep and rough, yet somehow comforting. Dasoto wasn't the "lovey dovey" type, but he did have his moments of lust. "I didn't think one of these small stinkers would fill you.." he told her. The brute walked around his mate and then lowered himself in back of her, cuddling into her as well as the pups.

((OOC-Aplicia's back...))
Aplicia padded back into her Alphas' territory dejected and feeling terrible, she'd been unsucessful in getting other wolves to follow her. The only one she'd found already lived somewhere. She slumped to the ground beneath her tree looking skinnier then when she'd left, for she had been gone for three days or more she couldn't remember exactly and all she'd had to eat was small creatures and berries. She whimpered and curled up, tucking her nose beneath her tail.

Even when Dasoto was ready to go to sleep, curled up next to his mate, right before his eyelids shut he saw a movement outside of the den in the distance. He immediately arose to all fours and charged out, realizing that it was Aplicia once he was near enough. "Welcome back. Any luck?" he asked, looking her over. No wonder he couldn't tell if it were her or not, she was half the size now then she was when he met her -- or at least it seemed like it. If she was in need of supplements, he would by all means get her some. Maybe after she was feeling up to it, she could come and see the pups. He had a strong sense that it would lift her spirits.

Aplicia looked up at her Alpha over her tail and shook her head sadly. "The only wolf I found already had a pack." She sighed then as she watched him. "What's happened while I was away?" She asked her spirits raising slightly as she realized that there was no punishment in store for her.

"The pups of come, but I want you to rest. You were walking for a while. I'll bring you some food and then you may go see them." he ordered her. If there had not been more members in the pack, he wouldn't be so quick to offer her a meal. But, Dasoto couldn't let his only pack member die out on him. "And it's okay I guess, these things take time." The Dragga ran off without another word, leaving tracks in the thin layer of snow that followed after him. It was the beginning of the winter, and quite frankly, Dasoto liked it. But this type of weather would not be good for the pups.

Aplicia watched him leave and a smile crept to her maw, maybe there would be another, Xander may come later. "Alright sir." She said after Dasoto's retreating form.

He came back quickly after, with a very stiff looking young doe calmped firmly in his jaws. His tail wagged in happiness of the successful hunt. He dropped it onto the floor next to her and looked back at the cave, swallowing hard. He didn't really feel like going in there. "So, what happened?" he asked, sitting down.

"Well..." She took a strip of meat off the doe and held it with her paws and continued, "Thank you Dasoto. I was in many different places, I crossed into other territories, then I found my way to Friendship Stream where I met the only wolf, but he already lived in a pack, but Vulcanis, his Alpha seems to want to be rid of him, keeps 'asking him when he's going to run off with a fae' according to him." She stopped and took another strip of meat continuing, "Then I came home without any wolven, and I've only been feeding on berries and small creatures, so this doe is a welcome gift." She finished that strip and smiled at Dasoto "So tell me, how many did you guys have?" Aplicia asked her tail waving behind her slightly, she could feel her strength coming back slightly.

Dasoto sat straight and watched her, listening intently. "There are many packs in Dark Star ... Most wolven already have packs." he said once she had finished her last sentence. He took a quick glance back into the den and then back at Aplicia. "The pups? There are three. Two brutes and one femme," he told her, "You will sit them, right?"

Aplicia smiled a little. "Three? A good number. Of course I will Dasoto." She told him her tail wagging a bit faster as she looked back at the den. Had Aplicia been the Alphess she would have chosen that den as well, it was the most comfortable and lovely of them all.

Accalia lay there, suckling the litter of three. She smiled to herself, and licked Lestat's head. Accalia lapped up the meat, gulping loudly. She smiled at Dasoto, and licked his head. "Dasoto, I love you. You and I brought three beautiful miracles to the world." she said in her gentle voice.

Flabbergasted, he just stared at her and grunted a little, nodding his head. "You too.." he said, as smooth as he possibly could. He smiled awkwardly and looked over the three feeding pups, staring at the smaller one in particular. "He looks like you," he noted, his eyes now rolling over to the one with the dark gray pelt, which would get lighter when as she grows. "She looks like me, but where does this big guy get his looks?" he questioned out loud, poking Bear gently with his nose.

She smiled, and nodded. Accalia thought she was being redundant, but she thought that a plethora of times. "He looks like, m-m-y murderous mother." she retorted. Accalia let her head, and tail droop. "Aplicia may come and see the pups now."
